چکیده

The retarded Green’s function G(k, ω) of a single small spin polaron in the three-band model for the CuO2 plane is calculated in the self-consistent Born approximation. It is shown that such a spin polaron is a good quasiparticle excitation for realistic values of spin exchange J and effective hopping τ . The polaron spectral density Ap(k, ω) demonstrates small damping in contrast to the results of calculations starting from the bare hole, i.e. the pole strength of the energetically low-lying quasiparticle peak Zp(k) varies from 50% to 82% 1 for J/τ ∝ 0.1 ÷ 0.7. The quasiparticle peak dispersion reproduces the main features of the bare polaron spectrum Ωk near the band bottom. The spherically symmetric approach is used for the description of spin excitations. It makes it possible to consider the quantum antiferromagnetic background without the spontaneous symmetry breaking and the unit cell doubling. The new method of the self-consistent calculation, based on continued fraction expansion of Green’s function, is represented in details. The method preserves the proper analytical properties of the Green’s function and provides the possibility to analyze the nature of its singularities. 71.27.+a,71.10.Fd,75.30.Mb Typeset using REVTEX 2

Spherically Symmetric Solutions in a New Braneworld Massive Gravity Theory

In this paper, a combination of the braneworld scenario and covariant de Rham-Gabadadze-Tolley (dRGT) massive Gravity theory is proposed. In this setup, the five-dimensional bulk graviton is considered to be massive. The five dimensional nonlinear ghost-free massive gravity theory affects the 3-brane dynamics and the gravitational potential on the brane. Following the solutions with spherical s...

A Spin-Polaron Technique Utilized on Triangular-Lattice Antiferromagnet

By expressing the Holstein-Primakoff transformation in a symmetric form a modified spin-polaron technique utilized on triangular-lattice antiferromagnet is developed. With the technique, we have treated an extended t-J model, calculated the quasiparticle dispersion, and we also compared the the dispersion with that obtained by other method. Spin-dynamics simulation study of the field-induced phase transition for the spiral antiferromagnet Ba2CuGe2O7

We perform spin-dynamics SD simulations to study the field induced incommensurate-to-commensurate phase transition for the spiral antiferromagnet Ba2CuGe2O7. Under an increasingly applied magnetic field, we find that the system undergoes a transition from a two-dimensional 2D spiral state to a spin-flop state, passing through an intermediate phase. The simulations identify two order parameters ...

Bethe ansatz for the one-dimensional small-polaron model with open boundary conditions

The one-dimensional small-polaron model with open boundary conditions is considered in the framework of the quantum inverse scattering method. The spin model which is equivalent to the small-polaron model is the Heisenberg XXZ spin chain in an external magnetic field. For spin model, the solutions of the reflection equation (RE) and the dual RE are obtained. The eigenvalues and eigenvectors pro...
